Exotic Wood Furniture to make your home special

Let's be clear: exotic wood furniture are furniture pieces where materials and design are exotic. "Exotic" meaning: that which comes from another part of the world. For us westerners, this actually translates into furniture and decorative items that come from Africa, Asia, South-East Asia, or Latin America. The materials involve exotic wood species, like Teak, Tamarind, Sono, Ebony, Suhar, different types of Eucalyptus and many others.

Although we talk about exotic wood furniture, I like to also mention decorative items made of exotic wood species, that complement the more functional elements of exotic furniture. Throughout the different styles and origins, you will find tables, chairs, armchairs and even sofas, benches, but also lamps and organic sculptures made form rare wood species.

Unique Exotic Wood Furniture made in our Bali Workshop

Exotic wood furniture at Espace Mosaik could either be an exotic wood furniture piece with an Indonesian style, that we have restored, sometimes transformed, or one of our original designs inspired or not by the style of Bali. Whether of classical or modern style, above all what you will notice is that our furniture and decorative items are creating a unique touch and atmosphere. This has our clients come back often, as they get a taste of these exotic places by visiting our showroom.

Our exotic wood furniture are built in our Bali workshop (Indonesia). Most of them are unique pieces created by our designer Joël Dumas, who spends several months per year in Bali. Other exotic furniture, like some Teak sofas for instance, are selected on site for their beauty, uniqueness and their usefulness, and them delivered to our showroom in Knowlton, QC, Canada.
